Jesus was a Jew -- Every Prophet Critiques HIS OWN PEOPLE

Jesus of course was a Jew Himself. Jesus said:

John 4:22 " You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

And Jesus' own words prove that the Jews are the Israelites of the Old Testament. Jesus Himself proves it:

Jesus said "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matthew 15:24).

AND THEN IN FULFILLING THIS GOAL, JESUS WENT TO THE JEWS Jesus went to the Judeans. The word Jew is not even in the Greek. It is an English word.

John 18:20

20 Jesus answered him, "I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and I spoke nothing in secret.

So in order to preach to Israelites, Jesus went to THE JEWS. Jesus knew that the Jews are the Iraelites.

Some try to argue that because Jesus spoke harshly about those Jews who had strayed for God, this suggest some difference between Jesus and the Jews.

However, EVERY PROPHET IN THE BIBLE HARSHLY CRITICIZED HIS OWN PEOPLE for their sin.

EVEN MOSES rebuked his own people.

Luke 5:32
31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

Jesus did not come to say nice things to His people.

Jesus came to point out their sins and to call them back to God

Jesus came to deal with the sins of His own people.

Jesus did not come to those who are "well" (righteous).

Jesus came to those who are SICK and IN SIN

What Jesus said and did is EXACTLY the same as the other prophets who condemned Israel for Israel's sins.

Did Elijah reject Israel?

Did Elishah reject Israel?

Did Jeremiah reject Israel?

Did Ezekiel reject Israel?

Did Isaiah reject Israel?

All of them spoke very harshly against Israelites who had strayed from obedience to God. But there is no question that those Prophets were themselves Israelites.

The Prophets were Israelites speaking against the sin of other Israelites. No difference in race is conveyed by their criticism.

IT WAS THE VERY HEART OF JESUS' MISSION TO POINT OUT THE FAULTS OF HIS OWN PEOPLE AND CALL THEM BACK TO GOD
